Information & Policies

Gate Hours: Opens at 8:00 am / Closes at 10:00 pm unless otherwise notified. Please notify the Resort if leaving early or arriving late as the gate may be locked. 

Check-in/out: Check-in time: 3:00-6:00 pm / Check-out time 8:00-11:00 am.

Interested in early or late check in or out,  please call the resort ahead of time. 

After hours: Names and locations will be posted on the Lodge front door after office hours.

Once you arrive, go directly to your campsite or cabin and check into the office 

after 10:00 am the following morning.

No refunds given for late arrivals or early departure.

Registration, All guests must register and be paid in full at the office located in Lodge before proceeding to your Cabin, Trailer or Campsite. 

You acknowledge that your credit card will be charged if you or anyone in your party                causes damages to the resort property

Day Visitors: Visitors coming during the day or visitors coming to see a registered 

guests staying at the resort, must  sign-in at the office and get a day pass.       

Day passes are $5.00 per person or $ 20.00 per car load.

*All day visitors must leave the resort before 10:00 pm.

Overnight Visitors: Visitors staying with registered guests overnight must check-in

at the office and pay $10.00 per person.

Generator Hours,  8-10 am and 5-7 pm  Please be respectful of your neighbors.

Barbeques: Permitted, but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult.

The main lodge has community BBQ use. *( No charcoal BBQs allowed during Fire Ban).

Pets: Limiting 2 dogs per cabin or campsite. Cost $20.00 

All dogs must be on a leash at all times.

No dogs permitted on the  Family beach, Lodge or Bathrooms or Lodge

Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. 

Absolutely no dogs are allowed on couches or beds. 

Bring personal dog beds or cages please.

Wi-Fi: Is available at the Lodge only, under Knouff Lake guest. Password: Lake2020 

Connect to” Wi-Fi calling” before you arrive as we do not have satellite service.

Please download movies and games at home as we have limited data.

Showers: Showers available at main bathhouse cost $1.00 for 3 mins

(only takes loonies)

Laundry: Washer and dryer cost $2.00 per load each  (only takes loonies)

Bedding  All trailers and cabins require you to bring your own bedding.

 With exception to the Redwood cottage and Jayco trailer. If this is not possible call the resort, we do offer bedding at a $20.00 charge per bed.

Dishes: All dishes, cookware & cutlery from Cabins & Trailers  must be cleaned. 

A dishwashing station is provided in the front of the bathhouse. sink, hot water, dish soap, towels and scrubby included. 

 Must be done prior to check-out or a $30.00 fee will apply.    

Garbage/Recycling: Please put all garbage in the bins provided at the resort.

Household garbage only anything that does not fit in bins must be taken home ( NO camping chairs, tents etc.)

Please do not burn garbage in fire pits

Firewood : $12.00 bundle purchase and carry from the Lodge during store hours.

Fires/Fire Pit: Fires are permitted in fire pits,  Please do not move fire pits. 

Campfires can be no larger than 20x20” (0.5mx0.5m) and be supervised at all times.

All fires must be put out by 12:00am midnight. Avoid any campfires when it's windy.

Follow all BC Government regulations, and must be extinguished properly.

Fire ban: In the event that a fire ban has been enforced, you may bring your own

propane fire pits and propane tanks as we do not supply them.

Please fill your propane tanks before your arrival as the resort can not fill them.

Smoking: Smoking or Vaping is not permitted on the beach, docks or in any of the resort 

buildings, including the office, rental cabins & trailers, bathrooms & laundry room.

Put out in the proper containers, be respectful of other guests.

Do not leave butts on the ground. No smoking during fire bans.  

Quiet time:  10:00 pm - 8:00 am. All noise must be at a reasonable level, 

Respect your neighbor. *Excessive music/noise will not be tolerated.

Drones:  not permitted without permission from Staff, due to the privacy of guests. 

Fireworks:  not permitted without permission from Staff for the safety of all guests.

Sani Dump: $10.00 Please pay at office prior to going to Sani Dumping   

Boat Launch: If you are not a registered guest. Pay $ 10.00 at the office prior to

boat launch.

All Vehicles Including  recreation vehicles  i.e.  Snowmobilers, UTV’s & ATVs etc.

Be considerate of our guests, when coming and going in and out of the Resort. 

Please abide by the speed limit posted.  No riding around in the Resort.

Playground:. Is intended for children 5-10  No rough play, or climbing on outside 

of  equipment.  Children under 6 adult supervision is required. 

Use the playground at your own risk. Hours are dawn to dusk.  

All Rental & Alterations to bookings:

Cabin, Cottage Trailer Rentals or RV/Tenting sites,

All Customers are required to check in at the office, have signed a waiver and be paid in full before staying.

Deposits must be made towards rentals at time of reservation, then full payment is 

required 60 days before arrival. 

Payments will be taken automatically by credit card on file unless you’ve otherwise stated.

Prices are in Canadian funds and do not include taxes or fees.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

Online reservations can be made 1 year in advance.

Please call the resort if any changes or alterations need to be made to your booking as soon as possible.

Rentals have a 2 night min on weekends and 3 nights for long weekends.

Call resort for possible exceptions.

Cancellation/Refund policies are as follows, 

Your reservation is a firm commitment,  No refunds are given should you leave early, or arrive late.

*A 30 day prior notice before your arrival date is required, for a refund and will have reservation and credit card fees.

*To cancel your reservation, 29 days or less prior notice before your arrival date, your refund will only go towards a camp credit, which you will go toward a future reservation.

*No cash refunds,  if cancelled 29 days or less before check-in date.

We do not cancel reservations by emailing us, if you need help cancelling call the resort at 250 578-8155.

LIABILITY: All Customers must sign a waiver, before staying and using the resort facilities and will do so at their own risk.
Knouff Lake Wilderness Resort & staff are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, loss or damage to personal property.

Parents are responsible for any/all children for the duration of the stay.
